Glass Diversions - Emerald Isle

Emerald Isle

The base of this bead was created using Bullseye's Opaque Turquoise, one of their Special Production colors.  It was rolled in Emerald Isle and zigzag encased using Schott clear.  To create further depth, I then encased the bead again.

As with all my Workeys, the bead spins freely on the key....for those times that something is "worrying" you and your fingers just need something to fiddle with :-)

This key is for sale on this website.  If you're interested in it, click on Workey on the left.

Created using a similar technique at the bead on the key above, this bead was made using a base of Bullseye's Buff, another Special Production color.  What can I say, I love BE SP colors! :-)

This key is also for sale in my Workey section.

Another BE Opaque Turquoise and Emerald Isle combination....this time in beads.   The base bead was rolled in Emerald Isle and encased in Schott clear.   I LOVE the reactions between the base glass and the frit!!

These are available in my Etsy shop :-)

Bullseye's Buff along with Robin's Emerald Isle is another great combination for beads.  Encased with Schott (my favorite clear for encasing BE....it is sooooooo clear!!)

Ok, so I've saved my favorite for last :-)  These beads were done using Schott clear and Emerald Isle frit...that's all!  I used a technique from my boro beads to create these "Frit Pick-Ups"....I LOVE them!!

These are available in my Etsy shop :-)
